The social aspect has always been at the core of our company’s values.
Now more than ever, we believe it is important to work with the idea of making an impact on society, on the community, and on the territory.
How?
Through projects that involve the community itself, as well as our commitment to support less fortunate individuals.
Let’s start with schools.
The Social Aspect in the Education of Young People
Young people who study may need to understand how a job is carried out “live“.
Today, the educational system offers internships and placements that allow students to get closer to the working world, but we believe it is important to show them close up how a company operates, what the steps are that distinguish the different phases of work, and also the objectives that can be achieved through work.
For this reason, we organized a very interesting event in collaboration with ITIS Rossi of Vicenza, an “open house” event called “Outdoor Lesson”, during which students, accompanied by their teachers, visited the company.
This experience was valuable for everyone: for the students, who could see and experience first hand how the work is carried out in the company, and for the ZD team, which had the opportunity to showcase its way of working, its values, and its goals, with the prospect of recruiting new talent into the workforce.
The social aspect of supporting others
Engaging in social causes is something which can take various forms, including providing support to those less fortunate than us.
The scenario we want to avoid is one of isolation and exclusion from society. This is why we have decided to support associations that work to help people with autism and disabilities, including through the implementation of professional inclusion programs.
Specifically, the organizations we collaborate with include “I Bambini delle Fate” which, through hundreds of projects, helps thousands of families across the country by providing financial support and inclusion initiatives aimed at people with autism and disabilities and their families.
Another organization we support is “Abaut”, whose mission is to promote and support Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as a rehabilitative intervention for individuals diagnosed with autism.
Finally, we decided to collaborate with “Primavera 85”, a social cooperative dedicated to managing social-healthcare services, educational training, and lifelong learning, always in support of people with disabilities and their families.
In particular, with Primavera 85, we have launched a project focused on assembly and component work in their workshops, fully adhering to current worker safety regulations.
The social aspect and presence in the community
The area where a company operates is its “home,” and for this reason, we believe it’s important to support it.
That’s why we have chosen to establish a presence and sponsorship in places where people gather, including for sporting and social interaction purposes. For example, we sponsor the annual “Tra Visele e Olivari” walk in Montebello Vicentino, as well as local sports halls like those in Montebello Vicentino and Costabissara, a town in the province of Vicenza.
Finally, we believe that the social aspect is conveyed through communication.
This article is an example, as is our presence in local periodicals with insertions that tell the story of our company, its values, and its goals.
These publications include magazines such as Flash, In Arzignano, and Monte Belo, along with coverage in provincial and regional newspapers like Il Gazzettino, Veneto edition.
